Network of Evangelical Women in Ministry (NEWIM)
NEWIM is a unique network of evangelical leaders who know the challenges of ministry and love to support one another. We create contemplative retreats (reflective and prayerful) for Christian women that are grounded on a strong Biblical foundation (2 Cor. 3:18). NEWIM's retreats give women the opportunity to fall in love with Jesus all over again.
We meet regionally in small groups and online for mutual encouragement. Our prayer support ministry, the pastor's wives retreats, and small groups formed during our Springs retreats, create beautiful, safe space for women serving in ministry and women married to pastors to connect with women in similar roles outside of their churches and ministry communities.
Unlike other organizations, we are a network of evangelical Protestant women who are currently serving, or who have served, as women's ministries directors, Bible Study Fellowship leaders, missionaries, children's ministries leaders, and other positions of leadership within our church and para-church ministries. We are all volunteers.
As you participate in one of NEWIM's ministries, you'll find that you become friends with other women who share your love for Jesus and understand your challenges because they, too, are serving in a similar role. For most of us, these friendships and the ministries of NEWIM have become a lifeline as the Lord uses them in significant ways to draw us closer to Him and to strengthen us to not give up.
We come together that we might receive the encouragement we need to serve in ministry out of the overflow of our hearts' devotion to Jesus.
We'd love to have you join us.
Thought for the day
God tells us, don’t give me a schedule—trust me. Watch me do it my way in my time, and see what happens…pray, "Lord, I’m available—do whatever you want with my life, and show me what to do."
We appreciate your gift!
The contributions we receive are wisely managed and enable us to continue to support women in Christian leadership in the United States and South Africa.
