Good day to our Newim Board and supporters
Our first retreat for this year was on a theme I could never have chosen on my own.
Only God knew how much this theme "RENEW" based on 2 Cor 4:16 would become a part of MY PERSONAL life. In the past, almost 20 years of doing the retreats, I have always heard myself quote the phrase "I do these retreats out of my own need". WOW! Health issues became very evident, as well as the fact that God was working out my OWN RENEW at this time…but in all of this (what looked and felt like CHAOS), we were ready to "find HIS lap and HIS heartbeat" for all 40 of us all, including 30 attendees who were anxiously waiting for this time of refreshment, encouragement, rest and renewal.
Literally, from Friday evening to Sunday, there was such a powerful and tangible anointing of the Holy Spirit and we all felt Jesus there with us. Of course, the program changed a bit, but in all of this God was the creator and provider. On Saturday, we did the Oasis time of replacing the lies we had in our minds about God's love for us...God wanted to reveal his love for us in our relationships at home, at work, at ministry, with one another. This valuable time brought many of the women (including myself) to a place of standing still and asking God to reveal…Again, thank you VERY much for your love and support.

Beautiful Women retreat in Cape Town, South Africa, May 2025, Glenda writes:
“At this retreat, we had 15 FIRST-TIME RETREAT ATTENDEES. These are women who had never experienced any form of retreat before. According to statistics we receive and feedback from groups here in Cape Town, the retreats hosted by BWRSA are still very unique, and very rarely happen. Three ladies travelled from other parts of Cape Town to attend. Some of the ladies were driving 2 hours to get here. We are extremely humbled and grateful to be a part of this ministry to women here in South Africa. We believe that God is preparing us to spread more of this to other parts of South Africa, and the African continent. After this retreat, we realised even more what the Church should be doing much more to bring people to Jesus.
I trust that this feedback of April will continue to encourage you in what you are helping with. This is God's work, and as a team here, we are very grateful to the USA Board and members who support this work for God's Kingdom.
