The General Confession
The General Confession from the Book of Common Prayer (1628) is read twice so that you can get a sense of the prayer, and then pray it as it is read. We are then invited to spend some time opening ourselves to the Holy Spirit’s illumination of our lives.

Seeing Behind the Facade: Windows to our Inner World
Sometimes we do not recognize our sin because it lies hidden behind a facade of "that's just how we are." When we see ourselves acting in a certain way, we might ask ourselves, **What else might be motivating me?** What we feel most strongly, even what we might think is core to our personality, can be windows to see how we are meeting our needs apart from God. Luann explores nine core sin tendencies then gives a short time for reflection that we might see our own blind spots and open our hearts in confession to the Lord.

Biblical Prayers of Confession
Powerful prayers of confession are found in Daniel 9 and Nehemiah 9. In these videos, Luann reads these chapters of scripture which can become for us models for our personal prayers of confession, or prayers for our nation. After listening we are encouraged to write our own prayer.
